This book almost feels like a grown ups version. As such, instead of coming off as the only sane woman or even Scott Evil, she kind of just comes off as ignorant. That being said, she has some emotional baggage of her own that needs working out during the the book's dramatic climax. Anarchy and his sidekick Raven is very entertaining. Various proofreading errors reduced the rating. There's been a number of books in the last couple of years from the villain's perspective such as d list supervillain series but this one certainly stand out from the crowd.
