Chubby women comics

The thing about comics be it their original books or film adaptations is that so many of the protagonists in these stories are meant to break barriers. But one area comics just haven't ever tapped into is representation of size diversity. Their weight doesn't make them any less compelling as characters, however, and it also gives artists the chance to depict something other than idealized human forms in skintight outfits. In fact I will buy the issue the character comes out in — but I do see a lack of characters that are LGBT and have a more realistic body type.
